THE FOUNDERS

Paul Wachter graduated from Swarthmore College and has more than two decades of magazine writing and editing experience for The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic, Businessweek, Harper's, and many other magazines. (Read Paul’s work here.) Paul also has worked for Columbia Law School, Duke University, and Swarthmore College. 

Kirk Daulerio has worked in college admissions for more than 25 years, including at Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania, and Bowdoin College. He served as a director for The Common Application and wrote the book Engaging Generation Z . He co-founded Mainstay, a company that brings AI technology to admissions departments across the country.
